Welcome to Hot Dip Tin!Our aim is to produce fine-quality, historically-accurate tinware:
- We use hot dipped tin instead of electro-plated which was not introduced until the 1890s. - We use pure tin for damming/soldering and rosin for the flux making all of our lead-free tinware both food safe and dishwasher safe. - All of our tools and wares are pre-1865. - We use swages, stakes, and mandrils for our Colonial tinware and rotary machines for our Civil War tinware. We hope you find what you're looking for, and if you don't, we do custom orders. Also, because of the nature of our craft, we do not keep a large supply of wares in stock. If your purchase is not ready for immediate shipment, we will make it and send it as soon as possible. If you have any questions, email us at info (the at sign) hotdiptin.com. Thanks for stopping by.
