Description

Based on original as found in “Archaeological Completion Report Series #1,” in Excavations at Fort Michilimackinac, 1976: The Southeast and South Southeast Row Houses, by Donald P. Heldman (1977, MISPC, Mackinac Island, Michigan). May have served as a tea canister. Holds approximately 3/4 cup dry measure. The original was found containing five King’s 8th Regiment buttons. Construction began on the fort in 1715 and it was destroyed in 1780.
